 Medical Challenges

 
 
A few of the spouses of Bees are enduring medical challenges. Currently Sherry Pace reports her husband Bill is in critical condition. Adrian Ricks' husband has had surgery and is recovering at home. Chuck Hodges is at home now with Gayle recovering from his surgery but will be facing treatments. Joy Fellenz's husband has also been in the hospital recently too. Cards would be appreciated by all.

 Memorial service for John

 
 
Memorial service for John on Sunday, March 13 from 5pm to 7pm at Escena Golf Club at 11 Club House Drive in Palm Springs, CA 92262. There is no service in Dallas.  Rich's address is POBox 5179 Palm Springs, CA 92263.

 John McFarlane

 
 

It is with great sadness and tears that I have to tell you of the passing of John. In the wee hours on the morning of the 27th John made his transition. He was on a layover in Toronto , Canada and fell to show up for pick up. At this time the guess is he died of a heart attack but until tests are done this is only a guess. I spent the afternoon with Rich at his & John’s home in Palm Springs later bringing him to our house. At the present time Rich will be leaving for Canada sometime this evening. When final arrangements are made will keep you posted. From Gayle

Jeanne Skarda pased away March 1 in Scottsdale,AZ. She flew from 1956-79. Among theBraniff attendees at the funeral were Sharon&Hal Brunn and Mary Perreault Strohfush. They live in MN,but winter in AZ. cards can be sent to Jeanne's address 8329 E. Vista Dr., Scottsdale, AZ 85250
 
 
Glenda Atkinson Steinle's husband passed away April 16 after a long illness. A memorial service will be held in DAL at a later date
 
 
Linda Lucas Hamm Goff passed away in De Soto,MO on March 1. She had waged a brave battle with breast cancer for 10 years. Cards may be set to Richard Goff to address in yearbook
 
 
Dear Clipped B's,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former Braniff Flight Attendant Supervisor Ann Coston on Saturday night.  Ann waged a long and courageous fight against cancer with her usual positive up beat attitude and grace. Up until the day before she went into hospice care she was out shopping at the Dollar Store looking for those bargains. Ann will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service is in the planning stage, please watch the website for further information.
