My uncle Mr. Alberto Gianoli Helfers was a flight attendant from 1966 until 1981 in Lima- Peru, and now that he is filing his retirement papers, he needs some documents of his time at Braniff. I would appreciate any info, thank you in advance!Country:United StatesDate:July 10, 2009 6:03 PMEvan ParrisEntry:My mother was a Braniff flight attendant from the mid-'70s to November 1, 1989, and growing up throughout that time, I have many fond memories of Braniff myself. Her name was Elayne Parris, and her time with Braniff gave her some of her most unforgettable and cherished memories that she was always happy to share with her families and friends. Sadly, she passed away last Friday after a five-year battle with cancer. She loved being a part of the Clipped Bs, and I'll never forget how flying was so much a part of the wonderful woman -- wife, mother, daughter and sister -- that she was. Thank you all for being her amazing co-workers and most importantly, her friends. And thank you also to Ms. Helen Adair and the Membership Committee for the beautiful card and messages of love. Braniff will forever live in our hearts as it did hers. God bless!Country:United StatesDate:July 09, 2009 5:12 PMSilvia GarciaEntry:I flew out of the Argentinian base from 1971 to 1977. Pity I couldn't attend the 2002 reunion in Buenos Aires, since I just discovered the web now. Can somebody tell me how to get in touch with B's from there? I saw some photos, but there were no names. I really congratulate all the people that have cooperated to make possible this excellent Braniff website. Best wishes to all the B's!!! Then I somehow found this website and it brought back so many wonderful memories. I see Judy Peterson in the photo on the left. We interviewed together but she lost her 10 pounds before I did so she was a few classes in front of me. She was also my roommate in 1972 when I got transferred to MSP. After 10 years with Braniff I got into Risk Mgmt and now work for the Dallas school district. I wonder where everyone is now?Country:United StatesDate:June 18, 2009 11:07 AMFarris RookstoolEntry:I am trying to locate the name of a former Clipped B's member who in the early 1970's opened a Dairy Queen at Skillman & Abrams here in Dallas. She was one of the sweetest ladies and I wanted any help from the Dallas area who might recall her name. Many thanks in advance.
